He grew the business successfully and was joined by his sons Peter Jr. and Charlie, during the mid-fifties.  In April 1970 the business began operating as an independent jobber and as a closely held Texas corporation.  Arguindegui Oil fast became a top tier supplier to the construction, and the oil and gas companies of South Texas.  By the mid-seventies, the company was a recognized distributor of quality lubricants and fuels.\nArguindegui began operating service stations in surrounding communities as well as in Laredo, Texas. By the early 1980's, the company expanded into convenience store marketing by building new stores and converting existing service stations into convenience stores. The nineties brought an era of growth and stability for the company as it began its transition to the third generation of Arguindegui leadership.\nToday, the Company has evolved into a premier fuels, lubricant, and chemical distributorship headed by the third generation of Arguindegui’ s, Alfonso and Charlie Jr. The company operations include an unattended fueling site, seven bulk warehouse operations located at Laredo, Edinburg,  San Antonio, Beeville, and Odessa Texas.\n",[],0,false]
